At Next Move Workforce Solutions, we connect skilled makers with meaningful manufacturing work. As a CNC Precision Machining Specialist, you’ll turn prints into precise parts—owning your machine, your quality, and your results.
A day in the life
Start your shift by reviewing work instructions and blueprints, confirming specs, and planning your setups.
Set up CNC and/or manual machines to production specifications, selecting tools, setting offsets, and preparing material.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently, loading raw stock and unloading finished parts to keep production moving.
Use precision instruments—calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools—to verify critical dimensions.
Adjust tooling and machine parameters to hold tight tolerances and maintain proper dimensions.
Monitor machines during the run, identify issues early, and troubleshoot basic production or machine concerns.
Perform in-process and final quality inspections and document production and quality results accurately.
Complete basic maintenance, follow established safety, quality, and production procedures, and keep your area clean and organized.
