A Dothan sign manufacturing company seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join our production team. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual with proven press brake experience who can work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Position Summary
The CNC Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting CNC press brake equipment to fabricate metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating press brakes, reading work orders and drawings, and maintaining quality standards throughout the production process.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and adjust CNC press brake machines to produce parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, drawings, and measurements.
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and program adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure materials are available for upcoming jobs.
- Maintain an organized and safe work area.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues.
- Work closely with production and fabrication teams to meet deadlines.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous experience operating and setting up CNC press brake equipment.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes.
- High School Diploma is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
