Compensation
$22–$32/hr DOE
A Day in the Role
You’ll begin by reviewing blueprints, defining bend sequences, and selecting the right tooling for the job. You’ll program and set up CNC press brakes, verify first-piece quality, and dial in machine parameters to achieve precise dimensions and tolerances. Throughout the shift, you’ll optimize setups to reduce changeover time, collaborate with production to maintain throughput, and ensure quality checkpoints are met.
Core Responsibilities
- Program and set up CNC press brake machines for production
- Read and interpret blueprints and bend sequences
- Select tooling and perform machine adjustments for accurate bends
- Verify part dimensions and tolerances; conduct first-piece inspections
- Execute quality checks and refine setups for efficiency
- Continuously improve setup methods to enhance productivity
What You Bring
- 5+ years of press brake programming and setup experience
- Hands-on experience with CNC controls such as Amada, Trumpf, Cincinnati, etc.
- Proficient blueprint reading
- Strong math and precision measurement capability
- Stable work history
Preferred Background
- Sheet metal fabrication experience
- Leadership and/or setup trainer experience
