Your impact

  • Set up and operate CNC machinery, CMMs, FARO Arms, milling machines, and related tooling to manufacture precision parts.
  • Read and apply drawings and work instructions to fabricate, prototype, modify, and rework parts, fixtures, and assemblies.
  • Diagnose production issues with cross-functional teams; refine processes and implement improvements.
  • Execute in-process and final inspections, verifying conformance to customer and industry standards.
  • Keep the workspace safe and orderly through equipment care, housekeeping, and procedural discipline.

What you’ll bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of machining/fabrication experience and practical CNC programming knowledge.
  • Training as a machining technician, machine operator, or lathe operator.
  • Expert blueprint literacy; strong reading, writing, and math.
  • Proficiency with dial indicators, micrometers, and gauges.

Physical realities of the job

  • Frequent walking, reaching, and ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Regularly climb stairs, steps, and ladders; work at height and overhead when required.
  • Occasionally lift and move up to 40 lbs.
  • Visual demands include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus.
  • Work may occur in non-climate-controlled areas and, at times, in inclement weather.

  • CNC Swiss Lathe (Star, Citizen, Tsugami, Index, Eurotech, Tornos, Ganesh, Nomura, Yama-Seiki, Hanwha)
  • CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Matsuura, Mikron, Dmg Mori Seiki, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Hwachon, Kitamura)
  • CNC Lathe (5+ axis) (Mazak, Dmg Mori Seiki, Okuma, Samsung, Doosan, Nakamura, Index, Eurotech, Hwachon, Miyano)

Where you’ll work and earn

Location: Sacramento, CA

Starting hourly rate: $23.40–$31.66. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
