From first cut to final inspection, your craftsmanship drives product quality. As our CNC Production Machining Technician, you’ll transform drawings and CAD data into precise components on Okuma and Mazak lathes and on Haas/Okuma VMCs. Whether you prefer days or nights, you’ll be part of a team that sweats the details and celebrates great process control.
Your impact
Own complete setups and operations on CNC mills and lathes to exact specifications.
Translate engineering intent from blueprints and models into tooling, fixturing, and sequencing.
Verify critical features with in‑process checks, ensuring tolerance and finish are achieved.
Diagnose machining issues and perform routine maintenance to sustain uptime and accuracy.
Capture process details—offsets, revisions, part counts—for repeatable, controlled production.
Champion safety and 5S principles to maintain a clean, orderly work area.
Imagine this scenario
A tight true‑position callout, thin‑walled geometry, and a finish spec that leaves no room for chatter. You analyze the GD&T, adjust toolpaths and G‑code, refine tool selection, and stabilize the setup. The result: a flawless part and a stable recipe documented for the next run.
What you’ll need
High school diploma or equivalent; prefer candidates with machining coursework or certification.
Minimum 2 years of CNC experience across both milling and turning.
Competency with CNC programming concepts and G‑code adjustments.
Proficiency in metrology (micrometers, calipers, gauges) and reading GD&T on prints.
Confidence interpreting technical documentation and engineering drawings.
Detail‑oriented problem solver with strong communication and team focus.
