When your shift begins, you’ll review job travelers and inspection plans, prepare your work area to 5S expectations, and stage die cast components for secondary machining. You will load and unload parts into CNC machining centers, start machine cycles, and keep a close eye on alarms or obvious issues. Between cycles, you’ll conduct basic inspections with go/no-go gauges and simple measuring tools, documenting counts and inspection results accurately. Throughout the day, you’ll handle parts carefully to prevent damage or mix-ups, maintain a clean and organized station, and communicate any concerns to a Machinist II/III, lead, or supervisor. You’ll also participate in training and build your machining knowledge step by step.
What you will do

Record production counts and inspection outcomes with accuracy
Escalate concerns to Machinist II/III, leads, or supervisors promptly
Participate in training and show a strong desire to learn machining skills
