- Must be able to speak, read and understand English
- Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
- Operation of small power tools, other hand tools and computerized and high-pressure
What You Do:
Progression beyond CNC Router Operator III
- Technical authority for CNC routing and programming
- Creates, modifies, and optimizes CNC programs
- Applies SolidWorks and Mastercam to production machining
- Translate SolidWorks models into production toolpaths
- Modify and optimize Mastercam program tool paths to maximize efficiency
- Select tooling, feeds, speeds, and cut strategies
- Support first-article runs
- Resolve program-related quality and dimensional issues
- Establish programming standards and best practices
- Support operator training
- Drive CI in cycle time, quality, and tool life
- Lead programming-related kaizen activities
- Serve as escalation point for CNC programming issues
- Support audits and inspections
