CNC Programmer 3-5 axis

** Programming for Indexable cutting tools (NEW & REPAIRS)

** Create 3, 4, and (3+2) positional 5 axis programs from company and customer part files. Utilize SolidWorks as needed.

** Troubleshoot and edit programs at machines as required.

** Generate setup instructions and machine tool lists for operators

** design work holding and fixtures in SolidWorks

** Create / update documentation, internal process drawings and inspection sheets for jobs assigned

** will require setup of machines in beginning and be involved in training personal to do their own eventually.

** NOTE!! : this position may require short term operating of machining centers as needed until operator positions filled.

** Any cutting tool design or manufacturing experience incredibly helpful, but NOT required!

Because of the nature of our business, we thrive through good and BAD economies! We are a small privately owned shop that can offer perks not available at larger companies, including flexible schedules/hours (after probation) from 6:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This offers you time to work around childcare, banks, dentists, etc. without burning up actual VACATION!! We offer plenty of overtime, but nothing over 45 hours is mandatory.
We are a specialized shop but more than willing to train the right candidate!
