CNC Programmer and Machinist

American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier aerospace fabrication facility in Tacoma, WA looking for a CNC Programmer and Machinist.

If you take pride in clean toolpaths and tight tolerances, we want to talk.

What you will do:

• Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam and Surfcam
• Set up, program, and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC mills
• Set up and operate CNC lathes, live tooling experience helps
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and workholding for different materials

Details:

• Pay: $28.00 to $40.00 per hour (DOE)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, overtime available

Requirements:

• Strong M and G code skills
• Mastercam or Surfcam programming experience
• Aerospace blueprint and GD&T experience
• Build programs from scratch, tooling and toolpath strategy
