CNC Programmer / CAD Designer

CNC Programmer / CAD Designer for Manufacturing$50 per hour/ 6 Month Project

Established manufacturer in Lawrenceville, GA seeks an experienced CNC Programmer to design manifold systems and create CNC programs for production using CAD/CAM software.

Project expected for 6 months

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

What We're Looking For:

• Experience with Esprit software or comparable CNC programming software
• Proficient in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
• Strong understanding of engineering design principles (GD&T, tolerance stack-up, fits)
• Ability to create detailed production drawings and specifications
• Technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 / AS9100 quality procedures

What You'll Do:

• Design manifold systems using customer specifications to create 3D models and production prints
• Produce CNC programs for production using 3D CAD/CAM software
• Create and refine engineering drawings using SolidWorks
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Material (B.O.M.) for all components
• Release final engineering drawings and specifications to production
• Write technical documentation including assembly instructions and installation manuals
• Support production with drawing revisions and troubleshooting
• Maintain and update databases associated with CAD/CAM software
