Schedule: Flexible

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop CNC programs for 3 & 4 Axis Turning and Milling machines
  • Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine best machining processes, tooling, speeds, and feeds
  • Apply strong knowledge of GD&T and general machining practices
  • Design effective tooling and work holding solutions
  • Create tooling control sheets for setup and operations
  • Support shop floor activities including First Article development
  • Analyze and resolve manufacturing issues for both new and legacy parts
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
Required Skills
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software
  • Experience with CNC setup requirements and machining practices
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T understanding
  • High attention to detail and accountability to deadlines
  • Ability to analyze data and solve manufacturing problems
Preferred Skills(Training provided for qualified candidates)
  • Experience with SolidWorks, HyperMill, Mastercam
  • CNC program validation using Vericut
  • Knowledge of 5 Axis programming
  • Familiarity with Siemens 840D, Fanuc, and OSP controls
  • Experience with ERP systems, process routers, and BOMs
  • Knowledge of machine probing and pallet systems for lights-out manufacturing
  • Ability to estimate run times for quotations
Experience Required
  • 3+ years in manufacturing (including at least 1 year in NPI/development)
  • 2+ years CNC programming experience with any CAM software
  • High School Diploma or GED (Vocational/Associate Degree preferred)
