We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist with strong knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machinery while ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to production schedules.
Responsibilities
- Program, edit, and troubleshoot CNC machines using G & M code.
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Select tooling and adjust machine offsets as needed.
- Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections using precision measuring tools.
- Optimize machine programs and processes to improve efficiency.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous CNC programming and setup experience required.
- Proficiency in G-Code and M-Code programming.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in setting up and Operate Lathe, Mill, Bender, or Grinder machines. Familiar with G-code/M-code programming
