Plan machining processes and production setups by determining optimal cutter paths speeds and feed rates. Select and establish appropriate tooling for machining operations. Recommend all tooling required for manufacturing parts. Prepare complete setup and operation instructions for CNC machines including tool types sizes grades and definitions. Perform test runs on new or revised programs to ensure quality and safe operating conditions. Update edit and maintain all CNC programs as required. Maintain CNC computer equipment and related systems. Complete and maintain accurate work and production records. Adhere to company attendance punctuality and absence policies. Fully comply with all company rules procedures and safety guidelines to ensure safe and effective operations. Collaborate with other departments and team members as needed.This is a Full-time Contract to hire opportunity.Required Skills and Qualifications Proficiency in computer use to access edit and maintain company documentation and files. Strong knowledge of CNC machine tool operations. Understanding of safe work practices and machining techniques. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize work independently. Ability to work under general supervision. Strong record-keeping and documentation skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to interact and coordinate with cross-functional departments. Working knowledge of trigonometry as applied to CADCAM programming. Proficiency in G-Code and canned cycles. Knowledge and application of correct SFM material removal rates and machining parameters based on material and machine conditions.
