Description

The CNC Programmer will create and optimize CNC machining processes using CAD/CAM software, supporting both new product development and existing production operations. This individual will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and machine operators to develop efficient machining strategies, troubleshoot process issues, improve manufacturability, and ensure quality standards are met. '

The role offers exposure to programming, setup, tooling, fixturing, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Develop, modify, and prove out CNC programs utilizing CAD/CAM software and G-code programming.
  • Create setup documentation, tooling plans, and machining processes to support production efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot machining challenges and identify opportunities for cycle time, quality, and cost improvements.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have hands-on CNC machining experience and a foundational understanding of CNC programming within a manufacturing environment. They will be comfortable interpreting engineering drawings, working with precision measurement tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve machining processes and production outcomes.

  • 5+ years of CNC setup experience and at least 2+ year of CNC programming experience using CAD/CAM software.
  • Proficiency with G-code, GD&T interpretation, precision measurement equipment, and machining processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently while supporting operators and technicians.
