The Programmer is responsible for the creation and maintenance of programs for turret punch, laser cutting machines, and dimension flats.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain programs for press brakes, panel benders, and robotic brakes.
Maintains and/or changes the floor routings and BOMs required for processing the parts through the sheet metal department.
Resolve programming issues.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school Diploma
Must be at least 18 years old to work in a manufacturing environment
Required Qualifications:
Key point: Focus on candidates with experience in sheet metal blanking and bending, not lathe, mill, or general machining programming backgrounds.
Priority skills (in order):
Amada robot programming for press brakes
Amada turret blanking software (VPSS 4i)
SAP experience (routings and bills of material)
Salvagnini panel bender programming (Stream Bend)
SigmaNest experience for laser part setup
Additional considerations:
Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new software quickly.
Candidates from sheet metal fabrication, OEM manufacturing, metal forming, or related industries are likely a better fit than traditional machining backgrounds.
