A CNC Programmer position is available in Glendale Heights, IL, on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis for 2nd shift (2:00-10:00 pm). The ideal candidate has a GED or high school diploma and over 3 years of CNC programming experience, primarily using Mitsubishi controls similar to FANUC. Proficiency in MasterCAM and SolidWorks is required, along with solid knowledge of G&M codes. Candidates should be willing to set up and operate CNC machines, viewing these tasks as integral rather than beneath them. Additional experience with Citizen Miyano, 4- & 5-axis machining, Okuma machinery, and 5-10+ years of experience is a plus. Technical schooling or college background is also desirable.
