What You'll Do as a CNC Operator
- Set up, operate, and maintain one or more CNC machines
- Process materials through milling, drilling, bending, and other machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Perform machine adjustments, tooling changes, and basic preventative maintenance
- Monitor machine performance and make program adjustments when needed
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Maintain production records and report inventory or tooling needs
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience:
Preferred Candidate Might Have:
- Previous CNC machine operating experience
- Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with G-code and CAD/CAM software (V-Carve experience preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills
- Knowledge of mathematics, machining, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to perform machine setup, tooling changes, and basic maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
