CNC Programmer / Machinist

Brownsburg, Indiana | $30–$39/hour + Excellent Benefits

Ready to Turn Ideas Into Precision?

At our AS9100/ISO-certified machine shop, we're not just making parts—we're solving complex manufacturing challenges every day.

We're looking for an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist who enjoys taking ownership of a project from blueprint to finished part. If you thrive on programming efficient toolpaths, dialing in processes, and finding smarter ways to machine precision components, you'll fit right in.

You'll work with a skilled team that values craftsmanship, innovation, and continuous improvement—and your ideas won't get buried in layers of bureaucracy.

What You'll Do

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes

  • Create, edit, and optimize toolpaths using CAM software

  • Interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings

  • Select tooling, speeds, and feeds to maximize efficiency and quality

  • Design and build fixtures and workholding solutions

  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming challenges

  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections

  • Improve processes, reduce cycle times, and support continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of CNC machining experience with mills and lathes

  • Proven CAM programming experience (required)

  • Experience with Fusion 360, Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM, or similar software

  • Strong blueprint reading skills and the ability to hold tight tolerances

  • Ability to independently take a job from setup through production

  • A dependable, detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving manufacturing challenges and takes pride in producing exceptional work

Bonus Qualifications

  • Multi-axis machining (4th/5th Axis)

  • GD&T application and interpretation

  • Advanced fixture and workholding design

  • Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience

  • Haas, Mazak, SMART, or Fanuc controls

  • Trade school, apprenticeship, or equivalent training

Why You'll Love Working Here

This is more than a programming position—it's an opportunity to make a real impact.

You'll have the freedom to develop better machining strategies, improve processes, and work on challenging, high-precision aerospace and defense components. We value initiative, encourage new ideas, and believe the best solutions often come from the people running the machines.

If you're looking for a shop where your knowledge is respected and your contributions directly influence how work gets done, we'd love to have you on our team.
