Position Overview:
HiFyve is hiring two CNC Programmers for a growing aerospace precision manufacturer in Meriden, CT.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced programmer who can develop CNC programs from scratch and wants to work with advanced multi-axis machining supporting complex aerospace components.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop CNC programs using Siemens NX / Unigraphics
Program 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC equipment
Create programs from blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
Determine tooling, speeds/feeds, and machining strategies
Support simulation, prove-outs, troubleshooting, and production launches
Optimize cycle times and machining efficiency
Create setup sheets and process documentation
Support AS9100 aerospace manufacturing requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
5+ years of CNC programming experience
Siemens NX / Unigraphics experience required
Ability to build CNC programs from scratch
Strong GD&T and blueprint-reading skills
Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, speeds, and feeds
5-axis programming experience strongly preferred
Aerospace or other tight-tolerance precision manufacturing preferred
