The selected candidate will develop and optimize CNC milling programs and machining processes for complex aerospace components while supporting production troubleshooting, tooling improvements, manufacturability reviews, and process optimization activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on CNC machining and programming experience, particularly within multi-axis milling environments, along with expertise in CAD/CAM systems, aerospace manufacturing, and precision machining of titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum components. Key Responsibilities CNC Programming & Manufacturing Support
Develop and optimize CNC mill machining processes for new and existing aerospace components
Create detailed CNC programs and manufacturing instructions
Define:
Operation sequences
Tooling requirements
Gauging requirements
Machine setup requirements
Generate machine-ready NC code and support prove-outs on the shop floor
Support machining operations for high-precision milled parts and sub-assemblies
Shop Floor Troubleshooting & Process Improvement
Troubleshoot:
Tooling issues
Gauging issues
Workholding challenges
Inspection concerns
Assist with machine setup and production support
Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve producibility
Lead continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes and equipment
Engineering & Cost Estimation
Review engineering drawings for manufacturability
Recommend design and process improvements

Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in technical field with 3+ years of experience OR
Associate Degree with 6+ years of experience OR
High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of related experience
Strong CNC Mill Machining experience
Experience with:
Multi-axis vertical machining centers
Horizontal machining centers
Minimum 3+ years of CNC programming experience using CAD/CAM software
Hands-on machine setup and machining experience
Strong understanding of precision machining processes
Ability to support production troubleshooting and prove-outs
