Their U.S. operations in Greensboro, NC are growing, and they are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join their manufacturing team.
Position Overview
The CNC Machinist – Milling is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components. This is a hands-on role ideal for experienced machinists who take pride in accuracy, problem-solving, and producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints
- Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines (5-axis)
- Select, install, and adjust cutting tools for optimal performance
- Monitor machining operations to ensure quality, precision, and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance and tool changes
- Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions
- Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing protocols
- Support additional tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical certification or associate degree in CNC Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 3 years of CNC programming experience (Heidenhain controls preferred)
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience with machine setup, tooling, and maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of machining safety standards and best practices
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
