Amuneal's Technical Products Division is the country's largest and most respected supplier of magnetic shielding, while our award-winning Custom Fabrication Division creates original designs for high-end residential and commercial interiors.Amuneal is looking for a woodshop CNC Programmer + Operator with the ability to operate both 5 axis pod + rail and nested based CNC router machines to assist in the fabrication process of our products.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, set up, and operate 5-axis pod-and-rail and nested-based CNC router systems for custom cabinetry, furniture, and architectural millwork projects. Generate CNC toolpaths and machine programs using CAD/CAM software such as Cabinet Vision, Alphacam, or similar platforms. Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, CAD models, and production documents to ensure accurate machining and fabrication. Collaborate with engineering, design, and cabinet shop teams to improve manufacturability, efficiency, and quality. Produce precision-cut cabinet components, casework parts, furniture components, and custom millwork assemblies. Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machining issues to maintain production schedules and quality standards.Perform machine setup, tool changes, calibration, preventative maintenance, and quality inspections.Support cabinet assembly, fabrication, and woodworking operations as needed.Maintain a safe and organized work environment while adhering to OSHA and company safety standards. Qualifications3+ years of experience in custom cabinetry, millwork, furniture making, or architectural woodworking.2+ years of CNC programming and operation experience in a woodworking environment.Must have demonstrated experience with CAD/CAM software, preferably Cabinet Vision, Mozaik, Microvellum, or similar woodworking platforms. Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods, joinery techniques, hardware installation, and woodworking materials.Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications. Experience operating woodworking machinery including CNC routers, beam saws, edge banders, wide belt sanders, and related equipment. Skilled in the use of woodworking hand and power tools. Detail-oriented with a commitment to craftsmanship, accuracy, and continuous improvement.Preferred QualificationsExperience in high-end custom residential or commercial millwork.Knowledge of CNC optimization, nesting strategies, and production workflow improvements.Experience with project-based custom manufacturing environments.Familiarity with veneer, hardwood, plywood, MDF, and specialty architectural materials.Previous experience working with Fusion, Rhino, Solid Edge, SolidWorks, or Alphacam
