Oxford Solutions is working with a manufacturing client seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for a direct hire opportunity in the New Kensington, PA area.
This role is ideal for someone with strong CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment such as aerospace, automotive, medical device, or a similar regulated industry. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing CNC programs to support precision machining operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify CNC programs for machining operations
- Read and edit G-code as needed to support production requirements
- Use CNC programming software to create efficient machining programs
- Review blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate part production
- Support setup and troubleshooting of CNC machining processes
- Work closely with machinists, quality, engineering, and production teams to resolve programming or machining issues
- Identify opportunities to improve cycle times, tool paths, and overall machining efficiency
- Maintain accurate documentation related to programs, revisions, and process changes
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of CNC experience in a controlled manufacturing environment such as aerospace, automotive, medical device, or similar industry
- Experience with CNC programming software required
- Mastercam and Hypermill experience preferred
- Ability to read and edit G-code
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, feeds, speeds, and tolerances
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work onsite in the New Kensington, PA area
