Our client, a precision manufacturer serving aerospace, defense, and space programs, is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and maintain machining programs for complex, high-tolerance components. The role owns programming and process execution within an assigned manufacturing cell while supporting quality, productivity, and delivery goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and CNC lathes
- Take ownership of CNC programming and process execution for assigned parts and equipment
- Recommend tooling, fixtures, and process changes to improve cycle times and part quality
- Collaborate with machinists, operators, engineering, and quality personnel
- Support new product introduction and repeat production
- Ensure programs meet drawing, specification, and GD&T requirements
- Maintain setup documentation, work instructions, and program revisions
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
- Follow all safety, quality, and operating procedures
Requirements
- At least five years of CNC programming experience with mills and/or lathes
- Experience with multi-axis machining
- Strong blueprint-reading and GD&T knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Mastercam, NX, or comparable CAM software
Compensation
$30.00-$45.00 per hour, based on BambooHR posting metadata.
