FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing CNC programs for a variety of machines, including turrets, lasers, waterjets, and
routers, to produce high-precision components. The ideal candidate will bring advanced technical
skills and a commitment to quality in a fast-paced production environment
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Program Development: Create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Machine Programming: Develop programs for CNC turrets, lasers, waterjets, and routers to meet production requirements.
- Toolpath Optimization: Design efficient toolpaths to reduce cycle times while maintaining part quality and machine safety.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to programming, tooling, or machining processes to maintain production efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of programs, setups, and modifications for traceability and process improvement.
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming within a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks for 3D modeling
- Expertise in Mastercam for CNC programming and toolpath generation.
- Experience programming turrets, lasers, waterjets, and routers.
- Ability to edit G-code is a plus.
- Experience with Striker systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with Elucad software is a plus.
- Education: No degree required; relevant experience and skills are prioritized.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical activities, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
Salary Range: $30-40/hour
