    Description

    Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

    • Responsible for operating and maintaining robotic welding machines to ensure that welding processes meet required quality standards.
    • Receive a passing score on the Welder Qualification test within the first 90 days of employment.
    • Load fixtures with parts and manually tack.
    • Move tacked weldment to robot station.
    • Monitor, troubleshoot and program as required.
    • Accurate completion of work orders and associated paperwork.
    • Ability to operate overhead crane to maneuver parts safely into place.
    • Ability to communicate up and down stream regarding parts requirements or quality issues.
    • Preventative and unplanned maintenance of fixtures and robotic welders.
    • Maintain attention to detail as necessary to adhere to quality standards.
    • Will perform standard MIG welding as the production schedule dictates.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Welding and programming experience.
    • High School diploma or equivalent required
    • Math, geometry, measurement and basic PC skills, and must be able to read orders, and tape measures.
    • Able to read and understand basic blueprints and drawings.
    • Ability to safely use hand and power tools & equipment.
    • Must exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety.
    • Must be dependable and report to work on time.
