The Field Service Engineer provides expert installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance support to ensure reliable machine performance and high customer satisfaction.

Looking for candidates with experience installing and servicing Horizontal or Vertical Machining Centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install CNC machine tool systems and all accessories at customer sites
  • Troubleshoot and identify causes of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or application issues
  • Coordinate resolutions and suggest repairs or replacements for CNC tools
  • Provide on-site and remote support to customers, distributors, and colleagues
  • Manage projects and deliver training as needed
  • Assist with trade shows and service support as required
  • Travel 100%, including overnight and occasional weekend trips
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years’ machine tool maintenance/technology experience (electrical and mechanical)
  • 3+ years’ remote technical support in the machine tool industry
  • 3+ years’ installation/maintenance of machining centers, including CNC geometry checks and adjustments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of PLC programming/troubleshooting, control systems, FANUC Controls, and power circuits
  • Experience with Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • OSHA-10 Certification in General Industry or Construction
