CNC Mill Setup Machinist
Full-Time | $25.00–$30.00/hour
We are hiring an experienced CNC Mill Setup Machinist to join our team in Bedford, Ohio! This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist looking for a 4-day workweek, 10-hour shifts, competitive pay, and a consistent daytime schedule.
Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level.
Choose From Two Day Shift Schedules
Tuesday–Friday: 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM–5:45 PM

Equipment
You will be working with CNC milling equipment including:
- Haas Mini Mill
- Johnford SV-40
- Fanuc OI-MF Controller
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines
- Perform machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, and workholding
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Make necessary machine and tooling adjustments
- Set and verify offsets
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Troubleshoot machining and setup issues
- Maintain quality and productivity standards
- Follow all shop safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous CNC mill setup experience
- Experience with Haas, Johnford, Fanuc controls, or similar CNC equipment preferred
- Ability to independently set up CNC milling machines
- Strong blueprint-reading skills
- Knowledge of tooling, offsets, speeds, and feeds
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
