CNC Machine Operator – 3rd Shift

Location: Avon, OH 44011
Pay: $17.00–$21.00/hour DOE + $1.50/hour shift differential
Shift: 3rd Shift

As a CNC Machine Operator, you'll play an important role in producing precision components by setting up and operating CNC equipment while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC routers, waterjet equipment, and other CNC machinery
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, specifications, and GD&T
• Perform machine offsets, compensations, and basic programming adjustments
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Develop nesting programs and cut sheets to maximize material usage
• Monitor machining operations and identify equipment or process issues
• Use measuring tools and basic inspection equipment to verify accuracy
• Maintain accurate production documentation and work area organization
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of CNC machining experience required
• CNC Mill, Router, or Lathe experience preferred
• Manufacturing troubleshooting experience
• Ability to read blueprints and work from detailed specifications
• Mechanical aptitude and strong math skills
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
