The CNC Lathe Set-Up Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes to produce precise metal parts following blueprints and specifications.
- Set up machines, install tooling, and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
- Perform adjustments, tool changes, and inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools.
- Monitor machine operation, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance.
- Maintain safety protocols and document production and inspection results.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
- At least 2 years of CNC lathe experience in manufacturing.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using measurement tools.
- Strong mechanical skills and basic CNC programming knowledge.
- Able to troubleshoot minor machine problems and lift up to 50 pounds.
Skills:- Problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team, with knowledge of G-code and M-code a plus.

This role operates in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery, requiring adherence to safety protocols.
Salary: $24-$26 per hour.
