Position Description
Job Description:
Responsible for CNC machine troubleshooting, updating tool paths and completing set ups for CNC Lathes in a high volume production environment.
Skills Required
Knowledge of Hard Turning, Green Turning, Milling, Broaching and Part Finishing machining processes
Knowledge to teach robot and gantry pickup points
Knowledge of Nachi robot controls
General understanding of manufacturing processes and detailed knowledge of lathe tooling/programming
Experience Required
Minimum of 25 years of CNC lathe setup experience in a manufacturing environment.
Interpreting G and M codes
Machine set-ups and changeovers on CNC Lathes
Troubleshoot daily production problems through root cause analysis techniques as they occur
Experience using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators.
Education Required
High School Diploma/GED
