Your Day
From kickoff to close, you’ll guide parts from print to production, ensuring every cut meets spec and every cycle runs smoothly:
- Set up and run CNC machines so parts meet exact specifications and quality targets.
- Study and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining steps.
- Keep a close eye on machine operations, making adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Handle routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues on CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with teammates to refine setups and enhance throughput across processes.
- Keep your workcell clean and orderly while following all safety guidelines.
- Record production data accurately and escalate any concerns to supervisors promptly.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; a machining certificate or technical degree is preferred.
- Hands-on experience as a CNC Machinist or in a closely related machining role.
- Fluency in reading technical documents and blueprints.
- Solid grasp of CNC programming concepts and machine setup practices.
- Comfort using precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Success working independently and with a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of machining safety standards and best practices.
