What you’ll do

  • Operate and monitor CNC/manual equipment to tight tolerances and exact specs.
  • Interpret technical drawings and CAD to ensure part accuracy.
  • Handle tooling selection, fixturing, and setups; adjust programs and parameters as needed.
  • Inspect parts to spec using precision gauges and CMM.
  • Perform routine maintenance; escalate mechanical issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with engineering/production to refine processes and improve efficiency.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain an orderly work area.
  • Record production data with accuracy and completeness.

What you bring

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or associate degree in machining/manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience: 2–3 years as a machinist in manufacturing; basic CNC programming knowledge is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Hands-on proficiency with CNC and manual machines.
    • Strong blueprint/technical drawing literacy.
    • Quality mindset with precision measuring tools.
    • Foundational G-code understanding preferred.
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving chops.
    • Team player who can also work independently.
  • Physical: Stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs; perform repetitive motions.
  • Bonus: Forklift certification or other relevant credentials.

Where you’ll work

  • Active manufacturing floor with machining equipment, noise, and metalworking fluids.
  • Standard shifts; overtime or shift work may be required based on demand.
