CNC Setup Operator Raptor Scientific, a global Aerospace & Defense test and measurement company, is seeking an experienced CNC Setup Operator to set up and operate multi -axis CNC lathes and mills, bar feeders, and robotic systems. This individual will perform a wide range of machining operations -including turning, boring, drilling, milling, reaming, grinding, threading, and live tooling -in a high -mix, precision manufacturing environment. This role requires technical expertise, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and efficiency.

The full -time hours for this posit ion are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. -5:00 p.m. and every other Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Full benefits package available after 30 days . RESPONSIBILITES
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED required
3-5 years of CNC setup and operation experience, including 4 -7 axis mills and lathes with live milling capability
Strong proficiency in G -code, M -code, and CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks, or equivalent)
Knowledge of CNC lathe and mill controls, cutting tools, and material properties (aluminum, steel, titanium, plastics)
Proficiency with standard measuring tools: micrometers, calipers, gauges
Solid trigonometry and math skills for precision measurement and programming
Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, and Siemens controls; ability to troubleshoot machining and manufacturing issues
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, process sheets, and maintenance documentation
Proven ability to train and mentor team members
