A Day in the Shop
- Kick off by reviewing technical drawings and blueprints, confirming dimensions, tolerances, and materials.
- Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including saws and CNC machinery, to cut and shape components with repeatable accuracy.
- Fit, align, and assemble metal parts according to project specifications.
- Conduct quality checks to verify parts meet industry and project standards.
- Troubleshoot builds with teammates to resolve fit, finish, or process challenges quickly.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols and regulations.
- Share your expertise by assisting with onboarding and training new team members on safe, effective fabrication techniques.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certification in metal fabrication is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in metal fabrication or a closely related trade.
- Working knowledge of metal properties and core fabrication methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with common fabrication tools and machinery.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with strong problem-solving abilities.
