CNC Swiss Setup Supervisor

Job Position: CNC Swiss Setup Supervisor * DIRECT HIRE*

Location: Ontario, CA 91761

Pay Rate: $38.00+/hr.

Shift: 1st, 5am-3:30pm, 4-ten work schedule

Description:

CNC Swiss Setup & Machining

• Independently set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes.

• Perform complete machine setups including tooling, guide bushings, collets, bar feeders, workholding, offsets, and machine accessories.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.

• Verify tooling and setup requirements before beginning machine setups.

• Establish and adjust tool offsets, work offsets, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters.

• Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary machine adjustments to produce conforming parts.

• Maintain dimensional and geometric tolerances throughout production.

• Safely prove out new or revised CNC programs.

• Support machining of complex, tight-tolerance components.

  Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of CNC machining experience, with significant experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss-type machines.
