    Description

    Bocar US has an exciting opportunity for a CNC Technician. The technician will perform setup/changeovers on 5-acis horizontal mills. A setup will require the technician to load/unload tools, change out fixtures, and run the NC program. The technician will remain at the machine assisting the operator until first piece verification. After production has begun, the technician may need to assist the operator with any issues they have. The technician will also be required to stage the tooling for each job. Staging will include loading the tools with heat-shrink equipment, balancing, and pre-setting the length. Impact of this role and key deliverables
    • Trouble shooting/ problem solving
    • Fixture changes ( will be trained)
    • CNC set up 
    • Understanding of Tool offsets
    • Blueprint reading 
    • Knowledge of cutting tools
    • NC program comprehension
    • Pre-setter experience
    • CNC controls (e.g., Siemens, Fanuc, Mazatrol)
    • Fully support and comply with all Bocar Group 5S and safety programs/initiatives.
    Minimum Requirements
    • At least two years of relevant experience in a technician role in a manufacturing operation capacity.
    • Coordination and organizing abilities required.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively and respectfully with company employees, vendors, contractors, and all levels of management.
    • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
    • Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • High school and Technical career desirable
