CNC Service Technician - Full-Time \| On-Site \| Manufacturing About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machinery at our facility and at customer sites. You will play a critical part in keeping production running efficiently and ensuring the highest levels of equipment performance and uptime. Key Responsibilities ?Install, commission, and qualify new CNC machines and equipment ?Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on CNC lathes, mills, machining centers, and other related equipment ?Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures ?Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings ?Calibrate machine tool geometry and verify part accuracy using precision measuring instruments ?Troubleshoot and resolve CNC control issues across multiple platforms (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Haas, etc.) ?Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to minimize downtime ?Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work performed ?Train operators and maintenance staff on proper machine usage and care Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls to restore operations Required Qualifications ?2+ years of hands-on CNC machine service or maintenance experience ?Proficiency with CNC control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or equivalent) ?CNC programming experience (Mastercam, Vcarve, etc) ?Strong understanding of mechanical systems: spindles, ball screws, linear guides, tool changers ?Experience reading electrical schematics, ladder logic, and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams ?Ability to use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators) ?Valid driver\'s license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed ?High school diploma or GED; technical/vocational certification preferred Preferred Qualifications ?Associate\'s degree or certificate in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, or Mechatronics ?Experience with multi-axis machining centers or Swiss-type lathes ?Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting ?Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
