High School diploma or General education degree (GED)
6+ months industry related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience including but not limited to Tool Grinding, Machining, Computer Science or Design
Hardware and software experience is preferred
Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers
Strong geometry knowledge is foundational. Must also be able to convert metric to inch and do decimal to fraction conversions and must be impeccable with decimal placement
Must have a strong analytical trouble shooting ability
Good work ethics, attendance, transportation, hygiene and teamwork
Ability to read and interpret documents such as product blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and policy and procedure manuals
Preferred Qualifications:
College degree (AS or BS) in related field (Machine Tool Technology, Computer Science, Mfg. Engineering Technology, etc)
Experience in using Anca ToolRoom, NUM, AutoCAD, and other precision inspection tools
Familiarity with Zoller product lines, comparators and calipers
Strong work ethic and an interest in manufacturing technology
Physical Demands
Standing 90 percent of the day, some bending into the machines
