Build the Future of Flight, One Tool at a Time

Atlas Fibre pioneers advanced composites and thermoset materials for Automotive, Aviation, and Aerospace innovators. Our parts help propel aircraft, vehicles, and spacecraft—and your work will keep the tools behind those parts ready, accurate, and available.

A day in this role

You kick off the morning by issuing calibrated tools and CNC tooling to production teams, logging every checkout in the inventory system. Midday, you’re inspecting returns for wear, identifying items due for calibration, and coordinating repairs or reconditioning. Later, you tidy and label storage locations, reconcile stock counts, and place replenishment orders before the next shift hits the floor. Throughout the day, you coach great tool-crib etiquette, uphold safety and quality standards, and spot ways to speed up turnaround while reducing cost.

Core responsibilities

  • Issue, receive, and track tools, equipment, and supplies for production and maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain precise check-in/check-out records and keep inventory systems current and accurate.
  • Inspect tools for wear, damage, or calibration status; coordinate repair, replacement, reconditioning, or calibration services.
  • Organize, label, and store tooling for fast retrieval; uphold a clean, safe, compliant crib.
  • Monitor minimums and place or trigger replenishment; alert leadership to shortages or delays.
  • Assist with routine cycle counts and full audits to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Champion safety, quality, and company policy adherence.
  • Drive continuous improvement to increase crib efficiency and manage tooling costs.

What you bring

Required

  • 1–3 years in tool crib operations, inventory control, or manufacturing support.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools, machine tools, and industrial equipment.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Zoller System Tool Management System, Tool Balancers, and Redo Matic equipment.
  • Strong organization, accuracy, and customer-service communication across departments.

Preferred

  • Inspection experience within aerospace, aviation, automotive, or composites manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with composites and thermoset materials.

Skills spotlight

  • Tool and equipment identification
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Time management and prioritization
  • Commitment to workplace safety
