Job Requirements
Set up/Operate Multi-Axis Mill Turns and/or Vertical/Horizontal Milling machines.
Load fixture in the machine with blank parts to be machined or a machined part for one (1) of the part-specific operations, which would be noted on the job router.
Utilize measuring devices to accurately measure part characteristics.
Seek supervisory help if the machine fails or measurements get outside limits.
Document on router production, quality and scrap counts daily.
Check to make sure coolant or oil levels are at proper function levels.
Skills & Experience
CNC Machining experience in turning or milling.
Optical Industry experience preferred but not required.
Ability to read GD&T Code.
Ability to use all measuring tools.
Materials experience: Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Brass, and Plastics.
