You review blueprints, stage tooling, dial in offsets, and run modern CNC lathes to hit tight tolerances with repeatable quality. What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate CNC lathes to manufacture parts to engineering specifications
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to plan tooling, workholding, and operations
- Monitor cycle performance for accuracy, consistency, and throughput
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
- Verify parts with precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve and optimize production processes
- Follow safety protocols, quality standards, and company procedures at all times
What You’ll Bring

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus
- 5+ years setting up and operating CNC lathe machines; aerospace experience strongly preferred
- Background with Mazak and/or Nakamura equipment preferred
- Solid understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and materials
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Comfort working independently as well as within a team
- Clear communicator with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
