Job Overview
We are hiring a skilled CNC Turning Setup / Operator to join our manufacturing team in Milwaukee, WI. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for setting up, operating, and optimizing CNC turning machines while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in CNC machining, the ability to troubleshoot and optimize programs, and a stable work history.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC turning machines efficiently 
  • Program, modify, and optimize CNC machine operations 
  • Machine components to precise specifications and tolerances 
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting 
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols 
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents 
  • Minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency 
  • Support knowledge sharing and assist in team development when needed 
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in CNC turning (Setup/Operator role) 
  • Proven experience in CNC programming and troubleshooting 
  • Strong machining skills with high attention to detail 
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints 
  • Good understanding of quality control and safety standards 
  • Stable work history (no frequent job changes; preferably 3+ years with one employer) 
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Technical/Vocational training preferred) 
Compensation
  • CNC Operator: $20 – $26/hour (based on experience) 
  • CNC Setup: $24 – $28/hour (based on experience) 
Work Schedule
  • Primarily 1st Shift 
  • May require flexibility for 2nd Shift based on business needs 
Compensation: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
