Job Overview
We are hiring a skilled CNC Turning Setup / Operator to join our manufacturing team in Milwaukee, WI. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for setting up, operating, and optimizing CNC turning machines while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in CNC machining, the ability to troubleshoot and optimize programs, and a stable work history.
Key Responsibilities
· Set up and operate CNC turning machines efficiently
· Program, modify, and optimize CNC machine operations
· Machine components to precise specifications and tolerances
· Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
· Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
· Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents
· Minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency
· Support knowledge sharing and assist in team development when needed
Required Qualifications
· Minimum 3+ years of experience in CNC turning (Setup/Operator role)
· Proven experience in CNC programming and troubleshooting
· Strong machining skills with high attention to detail
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
· Good understanding of quality control and safety standards
· Stable work history (no frequent job changes; preferably 3+ years with one employer)
· High school diploma or equivalent (Technical/Vocational training preferred)
