  • Are 5S, standard work, and continuous improvement part of how you lead?

If you’re nodding yes, you could be the CNC Value Stream Lead we’re looking for.

Who We Are

As a full‑service machining supplier, we support customers across diverse markets with parts built to exacting requirements. We meet tough standards with robust processes, modern equipment, and a team that cares about doing it right.

What You’ll Tackle

  • Direct the day‑to‑day work of CNC operators and line inspectors to maximize throughput without compromising quality or safety.
  • Train new hires and upskill current team members on setups, programming basics, and best practices.
  • Own safety on the floor; model safe behaviors and hold the team accountable.
  • Monitor quality metrics, address nonconformances, and drive corrective actions.
  • Communicate status and issues clearly to employees and leadership; participate in required meetings.
  • Assign work orders, balance station loads, and align resources with the production plan.
  • Apply and enforce company policies, SOPs, and standard work.
  • Assist with CNC setups, tool offsets, and minor program edits as needed.
  • Troubleshoot machine and process problems to reduce downtime.
  • Confirm operators have the right tooling, setup sheets, and documentation.
  • Audit and sustain 5S for housekeeping and organization across the line.
  • Redeploy team members to productive tasks during slow periods or unplanned stops.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Background in CNC machining operations.
  • Ability to interpret and apply CNC programming concepts and strong math skills.

Where You’ll Work

  • Shop‑floor manufacturing environment with moving machinery.
  • Exposure to odors, noise, dust, temperature variations, and chemicals.

Rewards

  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision (plus supplemental options) and 401(k).
  • Paid time off including Vacation and 8 company‑observed holidays.

Note: This role summary covers the primary scope of work. Duties may evolve, and additional responsibilities can be assigned to meet operational needs.
