We have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Waterjet Operator position in Austin Texas!
Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience operating CNC waterjet cutting systems (OMAX preferred)
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Must have experience using Precision Measuring Instruments (PMI)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
- Set up and operate OMAX CNC waterjet cutting systems to produce parts to specification
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, models, and technical documents
- Ensure proper tolerances, edge quality, and stock allowance for downstream machining
- Perform complete machine setup, including material loading, fixturing, and program verification
- Conduct in-process and final inspections using Precision Measuring Instruments (PMI)
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on waterjet systems
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and safety standards

Pay:
- $20-$34/hour based on experience
