Job Description:
- Set up and operate CNC waterjet machine to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, milling, and shaping various materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine the machining operations required
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy of dimensions
- Select dies, accessories, and materials on CNC punches.
- Calculate and set controls to regulate punching factors.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Experience working with CNC machines (specifically waterjet experience)
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
- Ability to select appropriate punches and dies
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes
- Ability to use hand tools and tooling effectively
