C#/.NET Core Developer

Overview
Fortune 500 client seeking a strong C#/.NET Core Developer to design, build, and support secure backend services and RESTful APIs in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core.
- Build backend services supporting user permissions, application configuration, and availability settings.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server stored procedures and database interactions.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization using Entra ID, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to integrate secure APIs.
- Ensure code quality through clean architecture, testing, code reviews, and refactoring.
- Troubleshoot performance, reliability, and production issues.
- Participate in technical design discussions and documentation.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3 5+ years of backend development experience.
- Strong C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+ skills.
- Experience building ASP.NET Core APIs and RESTful services (Swagger/OpenAPI).
- Solid SQL Server experience, including schema design, joins, indexes, query optimization, and stored procedures.
- Understanding of secure API development, authentication/authorization, and backend performance considerations.
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
- Ability to support and troubleshoot production systems.
Preferred Skills- Azure App Service and Application Insights.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and frontend integrations.
- SSRS, xUnit, and IIS experience.
- Familiarity with OAuth2/OpenID Connect flows.
Soft Skills- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-starter who works well independently and across teams.
- Active contributor to technical discussions and solution design.
