Job Details

Job Details / Responsibilities:

Provide strategic and operational leadership for all Nursing and Respiratory Therapy services
Oversee a team of 9 direct reports including 1 Nurse Manager, 1 Hospital Educator, 1 Infection Prevention/Employee Health professional, and 6 Nurse Supervisors
Ensure high-quality, safe patient care delivery with current RN ratios of 1:4 days / 1:8 nights and RNT support
Collaborate with the leadership team to maintain regulatory compliance, quality standards, and performance improvement initiatives
Support staff development, education programs, and clinical competency across the nursing department
Manage staffing models, scheduling oversight, and resource allocation for optimal coverage
Participate in on-call rotation for nights/weekends while maintaining work-life balance
Drive continuous improvement in patient outcomes, satisfaction, and operational efficiency in the rehab setting
Prepare the organization for successful surveys and maintain strong clinical documentation practices

Qualifications:

Active RN license (PA or eligible)
Advanced degree required: BSN + Master’s (any field) OR MSN if no BSN
Must obtain CRRN certification after hire
Minimum 5 years of hospital/inpatient experience
Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership experience (Director level or above strongly preferred)
Proven success in rehabilitation or similar post-acute care settings preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
