This is a ten month position.
Minimum Qualifcations:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
Must be able to use basic math and banking functions.
Must be a Louisiana School Food Service Certified Manager or successfully passed (80% or above) the LDOE School Food Services Manager Training; must have worked a minimum of five years as a Certified Cafeteria Manager.
Must have School Nutrition Association Certification.
Must possess computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of basic office procedures.
Must have the ability to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with assistance.
Must be able to be exposed to and work in drastic temperature changes.
Must be able to work and come in contact with water, detergents, cleaning agents and sanitizer.
Must be able to stand for 7 hours or more daily.
Must pass background check and functional assessment test prior to employment as required by Vermilion Parish School Board policies and procedures.
Experience with food service software preferred.
